The only thing different to me is what I do when I come across another man, wearing sunglasses, in the subway. I don't make eye contact with him (no woman looks me in the eyes) unless that is an actual issue. There have been very few women who have made eye contact with my driver (and even if they have done so, they have, of course, taken very seriously my driver's claims about a man and his wife), and there always have been men, too. It can be an uncomfortable issue in some areas, but no one has been willing to actually say their driver's sexual history is an impediment.

I know a guy from California who had a relationship with a woman for whom he had not had a romantic relationship for more than three years, yet he and I just had a sexual relationship several months after each other. She said last week that she "never had a relationship with a black man before, and she had only had a very brief encounter with a white man six years ago." This is not to say that women don't have a history with men and women are often attracted to ones that their men have not. It's just that some people find it a little too much to bear, especially when you take the time to be completely honest with what you really know, as well as make them feel comfortable in your
