May 03, 2011 · I prefer braids over twist because they stretch my hair out better, lead to more voluminous “out” styles and blend the different textures of hair on my head better. Braid outs always turn out great as opposed to twist outs that are hit or miss for me. Two-strand twisted bantu knot outs also work well for me for the same reason mentioned above. 0Twists are a little bit faster to do initially since braiding is a little more involved.
