To be completely honest, I absolutely wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because this has left them in a state of no doubt as to what will happen to this character, so they have to wait and see if it will be their character ever. Hopefully the two will end up with no, no future, even if they don't end up with the most ludicrous story they've written so far. Maybe the reader has to wait in vain when they meet them.

This scene also ends up leading to one of the more bizarre moments on the show. First
